Sungrow and ENEVO Sign 1 GWh Energy Storage Agreement in Romania
Sungrow has signed a 1 GWh energy storage agreement with Romanian energy company ENEVO, announced in a press release. The partnership will deliver a series of battery energy storage projects across Romania using Sungrow’s PowerTitan 2.0 liquid-cooled system.
The collaboration’s first phase includes 440 MWh of projects ordered earlier this year, scheduled for delivery before December 2026. The second phase will add 560 MWh, bringing the total capacity to over 1 GWh once completed.
All systems will use Sungrow’s PowerTitan 2.0 technology, designed for large-scale grid support and renewable energy integration. Sungrow’s series has already been deployed in several European countries, including the UK, Germany, Spain, and Italy, demonstrating its operational reliability.
The agreement strengthens Sungrow’s position in the European energy storage market and supports ENEVO’s goal of becoming a leading EPC contractor for large-scale battery storage systems in the region.
