EPC Power has opened a new manufacturing facility in Fountain Inn, South Carolina, which nearly triples its production capacity to support rising demand for AI data center and grid power systems. The 167,000-square-foot plant adds up to 40 gigawatts of annual capacity and will create 275 new jobs.

EPC Power Corp. announced in a press release the opening of a new manufacturing facility in Fountain Inn, South Carolina. The 167,000 square foot plant nearly triples the company's production capacity to meet rising demand for AI data center infrastructure and grid stability solutions.

The new site will produce EPC Power's M and MRACK series power inverters, designed for grid, storage, and AI data center applications. The facility adds 27 gigawatts of annual capacity upon reaching full production later this month, with the ability to scale to 40 gigawatts. It will also create 275 new jobs.

EPC Power's inverters use the company's proprietary Agile Grid Forming technology to manage power fluctuations and maintain reliable energy supply for data centers. This marks EPC Power's second facility in South Carolina and third overall, reinforcing its position as the only U.S.-based manufacturer that produces all its inverters domestically.
