Thunder Compute and Lektra Partner on Distributed AI Cloud Infrastructure

Thunder Compute and Lektra are partnering to combine cloud orchestration software with distributed AI infrastructure for GPU compute capacity.

Thunder Compute and Lektra announced a strategic partnership in a press release to combine Thunder Compute's AI cloud software with Lektra's distributed AI infrastructure. The companies said the combined platform will provide access to GPU compute through a geographically distributed cloud.

Lektra is building distributed edge data centers that can be placed closer to available power sources. Thunder Compute's orchestration software will manage the network and virtualize GPUs across multiple locations.

The companies said the software is intended to improve GPU use and support deployment and management of GPU infrastructure across distributed sites. The partnership targets developers, enterprises, cloud providers, and infrastructure partners seeking access to AI compute capacity.
