Starburst Appoints Jitender Aswani as SVP of Engineering

Starburst has announced the appointment of Jitender Aswani as Senior Vice President of Engineering to lead innovation in their data platform and accelerate AI deployment.

Starburst has announced the appointment of Jitender Aswani as Senior Vice President of Engineering, according to a press release. Aswani, who brings over two decades of experience in machine learning, data infrastructure, and cloud technologies, will lead Starburst's global engineering organization.

In his previous roles, Aswani served as Vice President of Engineering at StarTree and held leadership positions at Moveworks, Netflix, and Meta. His extensive background in engineering leadership and data science positions him well to drive innovation across Starburst's modern data platform for applications and AI.

Aswani will report directly to Starburst CEO and Co-Founder, Justin Borgman, and is expected to contribute significantly to the company's mission of accelerating AI deployment through its data lakehouse architecture.
