The Biological Computing Co. Names Atish Banerjea Strategic Adviser
The Biological Computing Co. named former Meta and NBCUniversal CIO Atish Banerjea as strategic adviser for real time inference and biological compute, the company said in a press release.
Banerjea will help define the path from software based on discoveries from neurons to production scale inference and systems where living neurons work directly with silicon. His work will cover systems architecture, infrastructure, organizational design, technical milestones and partnerships.
His initial work will establish roadmaps covering 12, 24 and 36 months. He will assess requirements including latency, throughput, reliability, cloud deployment, biological substrate stability, security and model serving integration. TBC currently studies living neural networks and applies the findings to software that runs on conventional AI infrastructure.
