S&P Global Completes datacenterHawk Acquisition
S&P Global has completed its acquisition of datacenterHawk, announced in a press release. datacenterHawk is now part of S&P Global Energy.
The acquisition adds datacenterHawk's intelligence on data center supply, demand, pricing, project pipelines, site selection, and its FiberLocator platform to S&P Global Energy's market coverage.
S&P Global said the combined platform will connect data center information with power market data, grid infrastructure intelligence, supply and demand forecasting, data center forecasts, market outlooks, and technology insights from 451 Research.
The deal was first announced in July 2026. Financial terms were not disclosed, and S&P Global said the acquisition is not expected to have a material impact on its financial results or on the Energy division.
