SiFly Unveils Long-Endurance Drones with Enhanced Range
SiFly, a Silicon Valley startup, has exited stealth mode to introduce its next-generation drone platforms, announced in a press release. The company's new drones are designed to surpass the endurance and range limitations of current commercial models. The all-electric, autonomous drones offer over four times the flight duration and ten times the range of typical commercial drones.
At the forefront of this launch is the Q12 platform, which boasts a continuous hover time of 2 hours and up to 3 hours in forward flight, enabling a 90-mile operational range. This model can carry up to 10 pounds of payload, making it suitable for Beyond Visual Line-of-Sight (BVLOS) missions. Deliveries for the Q12 are expected to begin in Q4 2025.
Additionally, SiFly introduced the Q250, a heavy-lift drone capable of transporting 200-pound payloads with a 100-minute endurance. This model aims to replace costly helicopter operations for tasks such as fire suppression and agricultural spraying.
SiFly's drones are already being tested in real-world operations, including deployments with Amaral Ranches in California. The company plans to announce multiple strategic industry partnerships in the coming months.
