Shoplazza Introduces Athena AI Agent for Merchant Operations
Shoplazza has launched Athena, an AI operations agent that allows merchants to manage their eCommerce workflows through natural language, announced in a press release. The tool is designed to help users execute tasks across products, orders, logistics, discounts, and data without switching between multiple dashboards.
Athena expands Shoplazza’s AI commerce operating system by translating merchant intent into controlled execution. Merchants can describe what they want to achieve, preview the generated results, and confirm before execution. Supported operations include creating and editing products, configuring discounts, checking orders, and analyzing data.
The system accepts various input types such as text, product links, images, and spreadsheet files. For large product catalogs, Athena can identify attributes like category and color, generate draft titles and descriptions, and suggest pricing for review. It also provides AI assistance for data analysis by returning charts, key findings, and operational insights based on merchant queries.
Athena includes a confirmation process for critical actions such as modifying or deleting data to minimize operational errors. It builds on Shoplazza’s experience supporting over 650,000 merchants worldwide and complements existing AI tools like AI Store Builder, LazzaStudio, and AdValet within the Shoplazza ecosystem.
