Shield AI has entered into a formal Teaming Agreement with Aerospace Industrial Development Corporation (AIDC) to advance Taiwan's defense capabilities, announced in a press release. This collaboration aims to strengthen Taiwan's aerospace industrial base and enhance technological innovation.

The agreement outlines specific areas of collaboration, including sustainment, training, and autonomy integration, ensuring that Shield AI's products can be effectively deployed and scaled in Taiwan. Shield AI's advanced mission autonomy and aircraft, such as the V-BAT, will be combined with AIDC's extensive aerospace manufacturing experience to bolster Taiwan's defense and deterrence capabilities.

Brandon Tseng, President and Co-founder of Shield AI, emphasized the long-term nature of this partnership, highlighting its potential to accelerate Taiwan's local drone and aerospace industry. As Shield AI continues its expansion in the Asia-Pacific region, further announcements are expected in the coming weeks.
