December 01, 2025
ShengShu Technology has introduced advanced image generation features to its Vidu Q2 platform, offering text-to-image, reference-to-image, and full image editing capabilities with free 1080p access for members until the end of 2025.

ShengShu Technology has launched a major upgrade to its Vidu Q2 platform, adding advanced image generation capabilities that include text-to-image, reference-to-image, and full image editing, announced in a press release. The new system is designed to deliver faster generation speeds, improved consistency, and broader production functionality.

The Vidu Q2 image generation supports 1080p, 2K, and 4K output, targeting professional use cases such as storyboards, key visuals, and advertising assets. According to the company, image generation can be completed in as little as five seconds, depending on complexity. Members will have unlimited free access to 1080p image generation until December 31, 2025.

The new release integrates still image and video workflows under a single model, enabling creators to maintain consistent characters and environments across both formats. Users can generate still images, reuse them as references, and extend the same content into video sequences without switching tools.

The update follows the company’s previous release of Vidu Q2’s reference-to-video capabilities and continues ShengShu’s focus on unifying image and video generation for creative production. The Vidu API, including the new Q2 Image Generation model, is available through platform.vidu.com.
