Vuzix and Shiny Box Develop Military Medical Training for Ultralite Pro
Vuzix Corporation and Shiny Box Interactive announced a partnership in a press release to develop military medical training and remote mentoring software for the Vuzix Ultralite Pro OEM Platform.
Shiny Box previously used Vuzix M400, M4000 and Blade 2 smart glasses for medical training and remote mentoring. Its work included augmented reality services for United States military exercises covering chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and explosive threats, surgery and critical care.
The software provides hands free guidance and connects medical personnel with remote specialists. It supports Starlink satellite links, cellular broadband, local area networks and mobile ad hoc networks for tactical medical training, casualty care and evacuation coordination.
