SeeTrue AI Screening Software Gains TSA Certification, Deployed for FIFA World Cup 2026
In a press release, SeeTrue announced that its prohibited item detection software has become the first AI system to receive TSA Certification for use with the Analogic ConneCT computed tomography scanner. The software integrates with existing CT carry-on systems to automatically identify prohibited items, displaying detection results on the operator interface.
The TSA Certification confirms that SeeTrue's software meets the agency's standards for detection performance and system integration. The company stated that its solution can be implemented within hours to support checkpoint operations and maintain passenger flow during periods of high demand.
SeeTrue also reported that its AI screening software is now installed at several U.S. airports serving as hubs for FIFA World Cup 2026 host cities. The first deployment took place at Indianapolis International Airport during the Indianapolis 500 and was expanded ahead of the tournament's June 11 kickoff.
According to the announcement, the certification adds to SeeTrue's existing ECAC APIDS Approval across both Analogic ConneCT and Rapiscan 920CT platforms, extending the company’s regulatory coverage across U.S. and European aviation environments.
