Britive Launches ARC Access Controls for AI Agents

Britive introduced Britive ARC, Agentic Runtime Control, for managing AI agent access to enterprise systems, announced in a press release. The product is available now on the Britive platform.

Britive ARC grants AI agents access for specific tasks, evaluates the identity, task, requested scope, and prompt context, and removes access when the task ends. The system records identities, requests, authorization decisions, privileges, actions, and outcomes during the transaction.

The product includes AI agent discovery and governance, runtime authorization for tool calls through the Britive MCP Gateway, runtime elevation, delegated access on behalf of a person, and revocation based on security signals. For systems that require credentials, Britive ARC can create and inject credentials at runtime, then revoke them after the task.

Where Britive is in the connection path to a resource, the controls can apply to individual SSH commands and SQL statements. An agent with read access to a database can still be blocked from an unauthorized destructive action during the session.
