Seekr Secures U.S. Army Contracts for AI Development
Seekr has been awarded two Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) contracts by the U.S. Army to enhance AI technologies for military applications, announced in a press release. These contracts focus on Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Machine Learning for mission-critical use cases.
The first contract, a Direct to Phase II award, involves collaboration with Project Linchpin, the Army's initiative for AI/MLOps capabilities. This partnership aims to develop advanced analytics for sensor modernization, enhancing LLMs to detect bias, correct inaccuracies, and distill complex inputs into actionable intelligence across various military operations.
The second, a Phase I award, focuses on developing AI/ML solutions for edge and austere environments. Seekr will leverage its expertise in translation, summarization, and synthetic data generation, pushing the frontier in Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and collaborative AI for autonomous systems. These efforts are part of the U.S. Army's strategy to operationalize commercial AI technologies in demanding environments.
