KEPSA and MindHYVE.ai Launch AGI Initiatives in Kenya

The Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA) has signed a strategic agreement with MindHYVE.ai to launch national-scale initiatives using agentic artificial intelligence (AGI) across Kenya. Announced in a press release, the collaboration aims to enhance workforce development, support small and medium enterprises (SMEs), and foster innovation.

The partnership will deploy domain-specialized AGI agents named Arthur, Justine, and Eli, each powered by dedicated Ava-Series large reasoning models. These agents will focus on education, legal, and financial domains, respectively. The initiatives include upskilling Kenya's workforce through multilingual learning and real-time analytics, empowering SMEs with intelligent finance insights and legal tools, and co-creating AGI policy frameworks.

Additionally, the agreement outlines the establishment of a National AI Innovation Council to guide AGI scaling and compliance. The partnership is set for a five-year term, with oversight by a Joint Steering Committee and adherence to Kenya's Data Protection Act (2019).
