CFTC Sets October 28 Forum on AI in Derivatives Markets
The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) has released the agenda for its first Frontier Forum on Super Intelligence, hosted by its Innovation Task Force. Attendees will discuss how the technology is being used, its impact on US markets and the Commission's role in fostering adoption while protecting market participants from new risks.
"Super intelligence is poised to transform our financial markets," said Chairman Michael Selig.
The forum takes place on October 28 and opens with how derivatives markets may respond to machine intelligence and its effect on price discovery and risk management, CoinDesk reported. It will also look at how traders' own AI agents may operate under CFTC rules, with speakers including the heads of Ornn, Architect and Liquid Compute.
