Resilience Launches Cyber Risk Program for Private Equity Firms
Resilience announced in a press release the launch of its Private Equity Cyber Risk Program, designed to help private equity firms manage cyber exposure across their investment portfolios. The program connects Arc, Resilience's cyber risk management platform, with customized insurance endorsements through carrier partners to close coverage gaps during the investment lifecycle.
The offering provides immediate and retroactive coverage for newly acquired companies, including support for transition service agreements. During the holding period, firms gain access to extended coverage for voluntary shutdowns, third party service interruptions, and a 270-day restoration period. Arc delivers continuous monitoring and a centralized dashboard that ranks entities by criticality and tracks portfolio exposure.
At the exit stage, the program includes refined control group definitions and continued liability coverage to help firms separate exposure and maintain valuation. Arc also generates exportable reports on cyber risk maturity to support transactions. Resilience stated that the program aims to give private equity CISOs and operating partners a clear view of how risk across one portfolio company can affect others, enabling more precise management of cyber threats.
