Primax and MediaTek Demonstrate Edge AI Robotics at COMPUTEX 2026

May 28, 2026
Primax Electronics and MediaTek are showcasing new AI robotics applications at COMPUTEX 2026, integrating Primax's AI Sensor Fusion technology with the MediaTek Genio AIoT platform for commercial and industrial robots.

Primax Electronics Ltd. and MediaTek are presenting joint AI robotics demonstrations at COMPUTEX 2026, announced in a press release. The showcase highlights advancements in their strategic cooperation in edge AI and intelligent robotics.

The collaboration combines Primax's AI Sensor Fusion architecture with the MediaTek Genio AIoT platform. The integrated solution enables robots to perform low latency perception, autonomous interaction, and real time environmental understanding without cloud connectivity. It is designed for deployment in commercial and industrial environments.

At COMPUTEX, the companies are demonstrating two application areas. In food and beverage service, robots use LiDAR, VSLAM, and AI vision sensing to navigate narrow aisles, avoid obstacles, and switch tasks dynamically. In factory and logistics settings, the demonstrations focus on high payload transport, AI vision based personnel following, and interface technologies that improve efficiency and safety.

Primax stated that it will continue building on its AI Sensor Fusion technology and deepen cooperation with MediaTek and other partners to develop scalable robotics solutions for industrial and commercial use.
