DEEPX and Sixfab Introduce AI HAT for Raspberry Pi 5
DEEPX and Sixfab have introduced the DEEPX AI HAT+ for Raspberry Pi 5, a new edge AI acceleration board that integrates DEEPX's ultra low power neural processing unit technology. The collaboration was announced in a press release.
The DEEPX AI HAT+ enables local AI inference on the Raspberry Pi 5 without relying on cloud services. It is designed to support real time processing for robotics, smart agriculture, and factory automation by balancing computational performance and energy efficiency.
DEEPX is also releasing a developer package that includes software development kits optimized for model compilation and deployment on the edge. The AI HAT+ is expected to be distributed globally through authorized channels, with plans for continued technical cooperation between DEEPX and Raspberry Pi to expand its use as an enterprise AI edge platform.
