SPHERE AX and Blaize Sign MOU for Joint AI Semiconductor Development
SPHERE AX and Blaize have signed a memorandum of understanding to collaborate on developing and commercializing AI semiconductor-based products, announced in a press release. The agreement was formalized at the National Assembly during the Policy Roundtable for Korea-U.S. Physical AI Cooperation.
The partnership aims to combine Blaize's AI semiconductor technology with SPHERE AX's software expertise in vision AI to create solutions for sectors such as smart cities, smart factories, industrial safety, robotics, and mobility. The companies plan to establish a Korea-based production system connecting overseas semiconductor technology with domestic manufacturing.
Through this cooperation, SPHERE AX and Blaize intend to strengthen Korea's AI industry competitiveness and expand the global supply chain. Both firms also plan to explore joint research and development, commercialization, and business opportunities for domestic and international customers.
