Poetic, formerly known as Forge, has raised $50 million in a Series A round led by Kleiner Perkins, with participation from Founders Fund, First Harmonic, and OpenAI. The funding will help the company expand its AI platform that automates complex business processes for large enterprises.

Poetic, formerly known as Forge, has raised $50 million in a Series A round at a $500 million valuation led by Kleiner Perkins, according to a press release. Founders Fund, First Harmonic, and OpenAI also participated in the funding.

The San Francisco company builds software that learns like AI but executes like code, enabling automation of complex enterprise workflows that require high accuracy and reliability. Poetic’s system uses a custom programming language that allows operators to describe processes in natural language, which the platform then converts into deterministic execution.

Poetic reports 99% accuracy on processes such as transaction monitoring and fraud investigations for large clients including SoFi and AIG. The company achieved an eight-figure revenue run rate in 2025 with a small team and has been deployed across multiple Fortune 500 organizations.

With the new funding, Poetic plans to expand its team, enter additional industries with complex operational needs, and bring its automation platform to more enterprise clients.
