Rival Technologies Adds MCP for Research Data and AI Apps
Rival Technologies announced in a press release a new Model Context Protocol for connecting proprietary research data from its platform with enterprise AI applications. The Vancouver company also introduced its Emerging Consumer Index, a syndicated intelligence product tracking affluent Gen Z and Millennial consumers in the United States and Canada.
Rival MCP gives clients a standardized connection between the Rival platform and AI tools they already use. The company said teams can send trusted human research into AI environments and agents, and can use those systems to help shape research before data collection.
The Emerging Consumer Index will collect new data every two weeks. Rival said it is collecting its fourth wave of data and plans to make the index available after the sixth wave through quarterly reports, ongoing data subscriptions, and data marketplaces.
Rival is piloting Rival MCP with customers. The company said more details about prelaunch access to the Emerging Consumer Index will be shared later, and CEO Andrew Reid will preview the index at the 2026 Quirk's Event in New York.
