PhaseV and Crohn's & Colitis Foundation Collaborate on AI-Driven IBD Research

PhaseV has announced a strategic partnership with the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation to advance research in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) using AI and machine learning technologies, announced in a press release. The collaboration aims to leverage the Foundation's IBD Plexus® research accelerator, which contains extensive patient data and biosamples, to overcome challenges in clinical development and enhance personalized treatment strategies.

The partnership will focus on designing more flexible, patient-centric clinical trials with a higher probability of success. By utilizing PhaseV's AI/ML platform, the collaboration seeks to address the complexities of IBD, such as disease heterogeneity and individual treatment responses, which traditional trial designs struggle to manage. This approach will enable real-time adaptation of trial designs, improving the efficiency and effectiveness of IBD therapies.
