Oracle and NVIDIA Executives to Headline The Connected World LIVE! 2026
In a press release, Connectbase and Interglobix announced that Dr. Sanjay Basu of Oracle Corporation and Pete Coticchia of NVIDIA will headline the opening executive program at The Connected World LIVE! 2026. The conference will take place from September 8 to 11, 2026, at the Marriott Marquis Chicago.
Dr. Basu, Senior Director for GPU and Gen AI Solutions and Services in Cloud Engineering at Oracle, will deliver the opening keynote titled "Designing AI Factories for Inference: Token Economics, Data Center Design, and Next Generation Connectivity." He will discuss the shift from AI model training to AI inference, focusing on the cost, speed, and efficiency of generating AI tokens and their impact on data center architecture.
Following the keynote, Basu will join Coticchia, NVIDIA's Global Head of Business Development for Oracle Cloud, for an executive fireside chat titled "The Evolution of NVIDIA AI Platforms and the Future of AI Infrastructure." The session, moderated by Vinay Nagpal of IG Group, will cover the development of NVIDIA's AI computing platforms from Hopper and Blackwell through Vera Rubin, Rubin Ultra, and Feynman.
Both sessions will address the growing challenges of scaling AI infrastructure, emphasizing issues such as network bandwidth, latency, energy efficiency, and connectivity across cloud regions and GPU clusters. The event will gather executives and technology leaders to examine the future of AI infrastructure and digital connectivity.
