Olympus has introduced its new OLYSENSE Platform with the CADDIE device at the Digestive Disease Week in San Diego, showcasing AI technology for enhanced polyp detection during colonoscopies.

Olympus Corporation has introduced its new OLYSENSE Platform with the CADDIE device at the Digestive Disease Week (DDW) annual meeting in San Diego, as announced in a press release. This platform leverages cloud-based AI technology to assist gastroenterologists in detecting suspected polyps during colonoscopies.

The OLYSENSE Platform is part of Olympus's comprehensive portfolio of ADR solutions and technologies aimed at treating gastrointestinal diseases and disorders. Alongside the CADDIE device, Olympus is also showcasing its ENDOCUFF Vision device and Texture and Color Enhancement Imaging (TXI) technology at the event.

Olympus's presence at DDW includes a series of product demonstrations and physician talks, highlighting their commitment to providing advanced solutions for gastroenterologists. The company is also featuring its hemostasis products and the newly launched EU-ME3 ultrasound processor, which supports high-resolution imaging for lesion detection.
