Philips Launches ECG AI Marketplace with Anumana's Algorithm

Philips has introduced the ECG AI Marketplace, featuring Anumana's FDA-cleared LEF algorithm, to enhance cardiac diagnostics.

Royal Philips has launched the Philips ECG AI Marketplace, a platform designed to streamline access to AI-powered diagnostic tools for cardiac care teams, announced in a press release. The marketplace aims to integrate multiple vendor offerings into a single location, simplifying the management and implementation of AI solutions in clinical settings.

The first certified third-party solution available on this platform is the FDA-cleared LEF algorithm from Anumana. This algorithm analyzes standard 12-lead resting ECGs to detect low ejection fraction, an early indicator of heart failure. By incorporating Anumana's technology, the marketplace provides healthcare providers with AI-powered insights during routine ECG procedures, facilitating timely and informed patient care.

The Philips ECG AI Marketplace is designed to enhance operational efficiency by managing vendor connections for each AI solution, reducing the need for hospital IT resources. This initiative is part of Philips' broader strategy to open its ECG ecosystem to third-party solutions, thereby improving access to early cardiovascular disease detection and care.
