Norm Ai Launches AI-Native Law Firm with $50 Million Investment from Blackstone
Norm Ai has launched a new AI-native law firm, Norm Law, and received a $50 million investment from Blackstone, announced in a press release. The collaboration expands their existing relationship as Norm Ai develops legal and compliance AI tools for in-house teams, while Norm Law will deliver AI-driven legal services, initially targeting financial services clients.
Blackstone’s investment was made through its Innovations Investments unit and funds affiliated with Blackstone Growth. The firms will also work together to shape and develop Norm Law’s legal services for Blackstone’s use. Norm Ai’s Legal Engineering approach combines its no-code AI platform with a team of over 35 lawyers, converting legal workflows into large language model-driven AI agents.
Norm Law, based in New York, integrates these AI agents into live workflows supervised by attorneys to improve speed and precision. The firm’s Legal AI Committee includes former regulators and executives such as Ben Lawsky, Troy Paredes, Dan Berkovitz, and Tom Glocer. Norm Law is currently expanding its team at the Partner and Senior Associate levels.
