NICE to cut 500 jobs as it shifts resources to AI
NICE plans to cut about 500 jobs worldwide, equal to 5% of its workforce, according to CTech. The company employs about 10,000 people globally, including roughly 1,000 in Israel. Estimates suggest the cuts will have little impact on its Israeli operations, although CEO Scott Russell promised in July not to reduce the workforce there.
NICE said it is changing its organizational structure and resource allocation to support customers deploying AI customer service software. The company is also seeking to sell its Actimize division and expanding its AI capabilities through a $1 billion acquisition of a German startup that develops AI agents.
The company expects annual revenue to exceed $3 billion if it meets its forecast for 10% growth. NICE previously said some customers delayed contracts during the first half of 2026 while assessing changes in the AI market.
