Mission North Expands Health Practice and Names Alex Hunter EVP of Health and Innovation

Mission North has expanded its Health practice after achieving 33 percent year-over-year growth and appointed Alex Hunter as Executive Vice President of Health and Innovation. The move deepens the agency’s focus on healthcare, technology, and AI integration.

In a press release, Mission North announced an expansion of its Health practice following 33 percent year-over-year growth. The firm appointed Alex Hunter as Executive Vice President of Health and Innovation to lead the practice as it increases its focus on the intersection of healthcare, technology, and AI.

Hunter joins Mission North from Jarrard, where he served as Senior Vice President and led the Health Services and Technology Practice. He previously co-founded The Bulleit Group, an award-winning technology communications firm recognized for its work in AI and deep technology.

The expanded Health practice unites Mission North’s experience across biopharma, medical technology, health systems, digital health, health IT, and AI-enabled care. Life Sciences remains a key part of the group, supporting companies advancing scientific and clinical innovation.

The agency also appointed Cath Anderson, Chief Communications Officer at Akido, as a senior advisor to bring additional market perspective and strengthen relationships within the health and technology ecosystem. Hunter will work alongside Senior Vice President Melissa Barry, who continues to lead efforts in life sciences and digital health.
