Milesight has launched its new PlateXpert technology, an AI-powered license plate recognition (LPR) system designed to improve traffic management. Announced in a press release, PlateXpert is integrated into the Milesight Intelligent Traffic Series Camera and is developed entirely in-house. It utilizes deep learning AI algorithms to achieve a 98% recognition rate, even in challenging conditions.

The technology is capable of recognizing license plates in over 50 countries and includes features such as Frame Parity Flashing Technology and auto parameter adjustment for stable image quality. PlateXpert can also identify special characters and supports various license plate formats, making it adaptable to diverse traffic scenarios.

Milesight's PlateXpert is designed to operate effectively under complex environmental conditions, ensuring continuous performance optimization. This makes it a robust and future-proof solution for intelligent traffic systems globally.
