SmartSens presented image sensors and computing systems for vehicle cameras, driver monitoring, occupant monitoring and surround view applications at AutoSens Europe 2026.

SmartSens said in a press release that it presented automotive image sensors and integrated computing systems at AutoSens Europe 2026 in Barcelona. The portfolio covers forward facing cameras, driver and occupant monitoring, and 360 degree surround view systems.

A forward facing camera module combines the 8.3 megapixel SC860AT sensor with the M2 system on chip from SmartSens subsidiary Flyingchip. The system also uses the SC233AT sensor for driver monitoring and supports side, rear and in cabin cameras.

An occupant monitoring system pairs the 5 megapixel SC533AT sensor with Flyingchip's M1 chip to detect passengers, children, pets and objects inside vehicles. SmartSens also demonstrated a surround view system using the 3 megapixel SC360AT sensor, which is designed to retain image detail under backlighting and glare from headlights.
