Microsoft Introduces New Sales Agents in 365 Copilot

Microsoft has announced new sales agents in Microsoft 365 Copilot to enhance sales processes, available in public preview in May.

Microsoft has announced the introduction of new sales agents within Microsoft 365 Copilot, designed to streamline sales processes and help teams close deals more efficiently. Announced on their website, these agents will be available in public preview starting in May.

The new Sales Agent can autonomously manage leads by turning contacts into qualified prospects, setting up meetings, and even completing sales for low-impact leads. It integrates with CRM systems and utilizes company data, emails, and meetings to personalize responses.

Additionally, the Sales Chat feature accelerates the sales cycle by providing actionable insights from CRM data, pitch decks, and other resources. This allows sales reps to focus more on selling rather than data gathering. Both agents are compatible with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Salesforce, enabling seamless sales operations without the need to open CRM systems.

Microsoft is also launching an AI Accelerator for Sales program to assist customers in migrating from legacy CRM systems and adopting these new AI tools. This program will be available from April 1, offering access to AI experts and personalized agent fine-tuning.
