MetroHealth Partners with Pieces Technologies for AI-Driven Clinical Workflows
MetroHealth has announced a strategic partnership with Pieces Technologies to enhance clinical workflows and patient care through AI-powered tools. In a press release, it was revealed that MetroHealth will deploy Pieces' AI platform across its inpatient and outpatient settings, integrating it with the existing electronic health record (EHR) system.
The AI platform is designed to streamline clinical workflows by reducing inefficiencies and administrative tasks, allowing clinicians to focus more on patient care. The Pieces Inpatient Platform, which has already generated over 10 million clinician-ready documents nationwide, will be used to create progress notes, discharge summaries, and other critical documentation in seconds. Additionally, the Pieces Ambulatory Platform will provide lifetime patient summaries, offering clinicians a comprehensive view of patient history.
This collaboration also includes a partnership on a National Cancer Institute and National Institutes of Health contract to research the use of conversational AI for cancer patient care. The initiative reflects MetroHealth's commitment to innovative patient care solutions and the growing demand for AI-driven healthcare improvements.
