Highmark Health and Abridge Collaborate on AI-Powered Healthcare Solutions

Highmark Health has announced a collaboration with Abridge to deploy AI technologies across their healthcare ecosystem, announced in a press release. This partnership aims to enhance patient-clinician interactions and streamline prior authorization processes.

The collaboration will see the implementation of Abridge's AI-powered ambient clinical intelligence platform at Allegheny Health Network (AHN) locations. This technology assists in clinical documentation, allowing providers to focus more on patient care rather than note-taking. The platform transforms patient-clinician conversations into clinical notes in real-time, which are then integrated into the patient's electronic health record (EHR).
