C8 Health Secures $12M for AI-Powered Healthcare Platform
C8 Health has raised $12 million in a Series A funding round led by Team8, with participation from 10D and Vertex Ventures Israel, announced in a press release. This funding will support the expansion of its AI-powered platform, which provides clinicians with instant access to site-specific best practices, aiming to reduce care inconsistency across hospitals.
The platform is already in use at over 100 hospitals in the United States, offering a unified system that integrates with existing hospital tools and is accessible via mobile devices, desktops, or directly through electronic medical records (EMR). It allows clinicians to access vetted, contextual knowledge based on their schedule, role, and department, thereby improving adherence to care standards and protocols.
C8 Health's platform also includes an AI assistant that enables clinicians to ask natural-language questions and receive accurate, contextual answers from their institution's knowledge base. This feature, along with the ability to access best practices from a global network of hospitals, enhances the platform's utility in delivering quality care.
The funding will be used to grow the team and meet the increasing demand for the platform, which has achieved over 90% clinician adoption rates within six months of deployment. The company plans to further refine its product and expand its reach across the U.S. healthcare system.
