Method Security has raised $26 million in combined Seed and Series A funding to advance its autonomous cybersecurity platform for use by the U.S. Government and critical enterprises, announced in a press release. The funding was led by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) and General Catalyst, with participation from Blackstone Innovations Investments, Crossbeam Ventures, and others.

The company’s platform integrates offensive and defensive capabilities into a single system, enabling operators to map digital assets, simulate attacks, and strengthen defenses autonomously. Method’s technology creates a digital twin of customer environments to provide continuous visibility and resilience testing.

Founded in 2023 by Sam Jones, Sean Hacker, and Daniel Kelly, Method Security’s leadership team brings experience from Palantir, the NSA, U.S. Air Force, CIA, AWS, CrowdStrike, and Microsoft. The company’s platform is already deployed with the Department of Defense, U.S. Federal Government, and Fortune 500 organizations.

The new funding will be used to expand the platform’s deployment and development, supporting its mission to deliver autonomous cyber systems capable of operating at machine speed.
