Meta launches AI fashion app Style Sketch in Southeast Asia

Style Sketch creates a digital wardrobe from Instagram photos or uploaded images, then suggests outfits and provides virtual try ons.

Meta has launched Style Sketch, an AI fashion app available on iOS and Android in Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand, according to TechCrunch. The app connects to Instagram to build a virtual wardrobe from posted photos, while users can also add clothing through photos, videos or images from their phone.

Style Sketch suggests outfits using clothes in a user's wardrobe and can build recommendations around a selected item. Users can preview outfits on a virtual model matched to their body shape and skin tone.

The app also creates daily outfit plans for trips based on the destination, duration, planned activities and weather forecast. Meta has not said whether Style Sketch will become available in other markets.
