Meshy Releases Meshy 7 for Image to 3D Generation
Meshy announced in a press release that Meshy 7, its new image to 3D foundation model, went live on August 10 for all subscription tiers. Downloading generated models requires the Pro tier or above.
The company said Meshy 7 is measured on how closely generated 3D geometry matches a user supplied image. Its benchmark compares generated models against reference 3D models that were held out of training, rather than using human preference scores or a vision language judge.
In the reported tests, Meshy 7 scored 81.0 percent on overall proportion, 79.7 percent on spatial distribution, and 59.8 percent on surface details against four other 3D foundation models. Meshy said its surface detail score was 5.3 points above the next closest tool.
Ultra Mode currently supports single view generation, with multiple view support planned. Meshy said it will release the geometry alignment benchmark separately after launch and plans a dedicated texture alignment benchmark later.
