Leidos and SeeTrue have announced a collaboration to enhance AI-powered threat detection technology across various market sectors, as stated in a press release. This partnership aims to improve the efficiency of airport security and customs screenings by integrating AI-enabled algorithms to detect prohibited items.

The collaboration will leverage Leidos' Trusted Mission AI approach alongside SeeTrue's advanced technology. By incorporating third-party threat detection algorithms, Leidos plans to accelerate the development of algorithms to meet the evolving needs of its customers. The focus will initially be on currency and narcotics detection, which will be deployed through Leidos' ClearScan CT scanner.
