Keeper Security Adds Approval Workflows to KeeperPAM for Structured Access Control
Keeper Security announced in a press release the release of Keeper Workflow, a new capability within its KeeperPAM platform. The feature enables administrators to apply structured approval-based controls and time-limited checkout policies for privileged access across enterprise systems.
Keeper Workflow introduces centralized oversight for privileged sessions. Administrators or designated approvers must sign off before users can connect to protected resources, with optional multi factor authentication after approval. Requests can be submitted from the Keeper Vault or Keeper Commander CLI, while approvers are notified through the Keeper web, desktop, or mobile applications. Integrations with Slack, Microsoft Teams, Jira, and ServiceNow allow security teams to approve or deny requests within their existing tools.
The feature supports single user mode and time-limited enforcement, restricting access to one user for a defined window and automatically rotating credentials once access ends. These mechanisms help eliminate standing privileges and maintain compliance across sensitive systems such as regulated databases and infrastructure.
Keeper Workflow is available with the release of Vault 17.6 within KeeperPAM, targeting administrators and security teams that require formal oversight of privileged access in sectors like finance, healthcare, and government.
