Humain and DataVolt to Build Multi-Gigawatt AI Data Center Network in Saudi Arabia
Humain has partnered with DataVolt to build a network of multi-gigawatt AI data centers across Saudi Arabia, reports DCPulse. The collaboration marks one of the largest planned infrastructure projects in the region aimed at supporting advanced artificial intelligence workloads.
Under the agreement, both companies will jointly design and develop high-density data centers optimized for large-scale AI training and inference. While specific sites and financial details were not disclosed, the initiative is described as a multi-gigawatt effort positioned to make Saudi Arabia a global hub for next-generation computing.
Humain, backed by the Public Investment Fund, has been expanding its AI infrastructure and previously secured GPU supply deals with Nvidia and AMD. DataVolt, which is already developing a 1.5-gigawatt facility in NEOM’s Oxagon, will contribute its experience in large-scale data center construction and sustainable energy integration.
The companies said initial phases of the project will begin soon, with facilities designed to meet hyperscale AI and sovereign cloud requirements. Sustainability and energy efficiency will remain central to the network’s design.
