Huawei Unveils Xinghe AI Fabric 2.0 for Enhanced Data Center Networks

September 22, 2025
Huawei has introduced Xinghe AI Fabric 2.0, a comprehensive upgrade to its AI Fabric, enabling always-on data center networks with full computing power, as announced in a press release.

Huawei has launched Xinghe AI Fabric 2.0, a significant upgrade to its AI Fabric initially released in 2018. This new version is designed to help enterprises create always-on data center networks with full computing power, announced in a press release.

Xinghe AI Fabric 2.0 is built on a three-layer architecture that includes the AI brain, AI connectivity, and AI network elements. The AI brain utilizes the StarryWing Digital Map and NetMaster for service orchestration, automated deployment, and integrated operations and maintenance (O&M) automation, significantly enhancing O&M efficiency.

The AI connectivity component employs network-scale load balancing algorithms to boost network throughput by up to 95% and improve training and inference efficiency by over 10%. Additionally, the iReliable technology, based on a Rock Solid architecture, offers ten times greater reliability.

AI network elements feature general-purpose computing switches from the CloudEngine series, intelligent computing switches from the XH series, and StarryLink optical modules, which provide precise traffic awareness and visualization of packet loss and latency. These components contribute to improved network security through intrinsic security and group-based isolation.
