Huawei unveiled its upgraded Stellar AI Network at HUAWEI CONNECT 2026 in Shanghai, the company announced in a press release. Huawei reports improvements in latency, remote computing efficiency, threat detection, and network troubleshooting across three components.

Stellar AI Fabric 2.0 includes SF9300 switches designed to work with Ascend A5 and A6 systems. Huawei says its two layer, multi plane architecture cuts deployment costs by 30%, while a unified protocol lowers latency from 20 microseconds to 11 microseconds. The fabric also includes XH9300-EN switches and security tools for detecting hashrate theft, prompt injection, and model poisoning.

Stellar AI WAN supports computing delivery over distances greater than 1,000 kilometers. Its Starnet algorithm raises remote computing efficiency above 95%, according to Huawei. Layerwise model partitioning keeps the first and final processing layers on premises, while overlapping computation and communication reduces bandwidth idle time by more than 80%.

The upgraded campus network collects more than 25 types of network data at 100 millisecond intervals. Huawei says its troubleshooting system reaches 95% accuracy and can reduce mean repair time to less than five minutes. Asset Security 2.0 places small AI models in switches, cutting threat detection time for unmanaged terminals from five minutes to less than 10 seconds.
