Huawei Brings Upgraded Stellar Network Solution to Europe

Huawei has brought its upgraded Stellar Intelligent Network Solution to Europe, the company said in a press release. Huawei presented the system at its Network Summit 2026 Europe in Florence, with updates for Stellar Intelligent Fabric, Stellar Intelligent WAN and Stellar Intelligent Campus Network.

Stellar Intelligent Fabric uses Huawei's 100T switches and a two layer architecture. Huawei says the design quadruples network scale while reducing the number of switches and optical modules by 30%. Its Network Packet Load Balancing algorithm raises link use to 98%, while xFlow and the AI Eagle Eye Engine analyze traffic and identify faults.

Stellar Intelligent WAN includes the Starnet algorithm for transferring computing workloads between regions, model partitioning that keeps raw data on premises, and security tools for detecting intrusions. It also includes a Quantum Key Distribution board and APN6 based data fencing.

The campus network update adds coordination across multiple access points, smart antennas, local anomaly detection on switches and Post Quantum Cryptography for wired and wireless connections. Huawei also introduced eKit products for small and medium businesses, including Aura10 and AR580 gateways, S630 10GE core switches and AP362H access points.
