Healthcare automation startup Honey Health has raised $7.8 million in seed funding led by Pelion Ventures, with participation from Streamlined, Burst Capital, and 8-Bit Capital, announced in a press release. The company develops AI agent teams that autonomously handle administrative tasks within healthcare systems.

Founded by Matt Faustman and Xiao Zhang, Honey Health’s platform integrates directly into electronic health record (EHR) systems to complete workflows such as data fetching, note preparation, order management, fax triage, and prior authorizations. The company reports that its customers, including over 100 medical groups and health systems, have achieved annual profit gains of up to $65,000 per provider.

Honey’s proprietary Loop Framework and Hive Protocol enable its AI agents to onboard within 30 days and operate across mixed EHR environments. The new funding will support expansion of the company’s AI capabilities, customer base, and team.
