Gurucul Introduces AI-SOC Analyst for Enhanced Threat Detection
Gurucul has launched its new AI-SOC Analyst, a tool designed to enhance threat detection and response in security operations centers (SOCs), announced in a press release. The AI-SOC Analyst automates the triage of alerts, classifies them, and dynamically responds by escalating or remediating threats, significantly reducing the mean time to resolution by 83%.
The AI-SOC Analyst functions like an experienced human analyst, investigating alerts and providing context-rich insights and evidence-based recommendations. This tool is integrated with Gurucul's Sme AI copilot, which uses Generative AI to interpret complex data and suggest next steps during investigations.
Key benefits of the AI-SOC Analyst include 24/7 monitoring without fatigue, faster threat detection and response, and cost efficiency by supporting the triage of thousands of alerts simultaneously. This innovation aims to free human analysts from repetitive tasks, allowing them to focus on more complex threats and strategic tasks.
