Google Releases Gemini Omni 1.2 Flash for 15-Second AI Videos

Nov 6, 2026
Gemini Omni 1.2 Flash creates and edits videos up to 15 seconds long, with stronger reference consistency and a 30% lower price for 720p generation.

Google released Gemini Omni 1.2 Flash with general availability through Google Cloud and the Gemini API, the company announced in a blog post. The model generates and edits clips from 3 to 15 seconds long, with duration adjustable in one-second increments.

Generation costs $0.07 per second at 720p, which is 30% less than Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash. Users can create drafts at 360p or 720p and upscale selected videos to 1080p or 4K.

The model supports conversational editing for changes to products, backgrounds, lighting, camera angles and aspect ratios. It also improves consistency across reference images, video and audio, along with dialogue, lip-sync and speaker separation. Generated videos include an imperceptible SynthID watermark. Business users can also create with it in Gemini for business and Google Vids, Google Cloud said, and TechRepublic notes that a 15-second 720p clip costs $1.05 before further edits.
