Google Launches Gemini 4 Argon With 1 Million Token Context
Google has made Gemini 4 Argon globally available, the company said in a blog post. Developers and enterprises can use it through the API in AI Studio and the Gemini platform, Google AI Ultra subscribers can use it in Google Antigravity, and Ultra and Pro subscribers get it in the Gemini app and AI Mode in Search. The release follows Google's introduction of the model earlier this month, when access started with a limited rollout.
The model launches at an introductory price of $2 per million input tokens and $10 per million output tokens, with cached input tokens at 95% off. Google says Argon outperforms other frontier models on benchmarks across domains and ranks first on the Vals Index, which measures performance in sectors such as finance, coding, legal and tax work.
According to the model card from Google DeepMind, Gemini 4 Argon is a new frontier model rather than a fine-tune of a prior model: a sparse mixture of experts transformer with native support for text, image, audio and video input and a combined input and output context window of up to 1 million tokens. Google says that inside the company, Argon in Antigravity helped teams increase agentic code submissions by more than 35% while reducing code rollbacks by nearly a third.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?
Tensordyne
This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
