Genomics Unveils Mystra AI Platform for Drug Target Discovery
Genomics plc has launched Mystra AI, a conversational platform that uses the world's largest human genetics database to improve drug target discovery and validation, announced in a press release.
Mystra AI provides scientists in research and business development with access to genetic insights through a plain language chat interface. The system draws on a genotype phenotype database built from more than 45,000 genome wide association studies, offering data on diseases including cancer, heart disease, and diabetes.
The platform enables users to evaluate drug targets supported by human genetic evidence, which are statistically more likely to succeed in clinical trials. Mystra AI explains each answer with data and visuals from the Mystra data store, ensuring transparency and reproducibility.
Pharmaceutical and biotech partners can use Mystra AI through self service, partly managed, or fully managed options. Early adopters include Novo Nordisk, BridgeBio Pharma, and Relation Therapeutics, who report improvements in research efficiency and data analysis speed.
