FST Logistics Adopts Onward Robotics' Automation for Enhanced Fulfillment

FST Logistics has partnered with Onward Robotics to implement the Meet Me automation solution, aiming to improve order fulfillment efficiency in its Columbus, Ohio facility.

FST Logistics has partnered with Onward Robotics to implement the Meet Me® automation solution, announced in a press release. This collaboration aims to enhance order fulfillment efficiency at FST's Columbus, Ohio facility, which serves as a hub for managing supply chains of emerging brands in consumer packaged goods and other rapidly-growing industries.

The deployment, set for the first half of 2025, will utilize Onward Robotics' Pyxis software and Lumabot® autonomous mobile robots (AMRs). These technologies are designed to reduce travel time and increase capacity for high-volume payloads, thereby optimizing the fulfillment process. The Pyxis technology employs proprietary algorithms to manage picker and robot workflows, ensuring efficient goods flow.

FST Logistics' Chief Operating Officer, Zak Hancock, highlighted the decision to adopt Onward Robotics' solution as part of their commitment to innovation in fulfillment processes. The integration of Pyxis technology and Lumabot AMRs is expected to empower FST's team, boost throughput, and maintain high service levels for their customers' supply chains.
